Total Planned Points for WE: 15
Credit 1 - Water Reuse
Intent
Requirements
Prerequisites
-
None
Credits
-
1.1 Rainwater Harvesting System (A total of 5 points can be awarded for 1.1 and 1.2).
AND/OR
-
1.2 Greywater Reuse System (A total of 5 points can be awarded for 1.1 and 1.2).
We plan on these 5 points by both harvesting our roof rainwater for irrigation and using a Greywater system for indoor water use.

Credit 2 - Irrigation System
Intent
Minimize outdoor demand for water through water-efficient irrigation.
Requirements
Prerequisites
-
None
Credits
-
2.1 High-Efficiency Irrigation System (1 point each, maximum 3 points).
AND/OR
-
2.2 Third-Party Inspection (1 point).
OR
-
2.3 Reduce Overall Irrigation Demand by at Least 45% (maximum 4 points).
We plan on 4 points here by designing the landscape and irrigation system to reduce the overall irrigation-water budget.

Credit 3 - Water Efficiency
Intent
Minimize indoor demand for water through water-efficient fixtures and fittings.
Requirements
Prerequisites
-
3.1 Fixture efficiencies.
Our toilets will not consume more than 6.0 litres per flush.
Credits
-
3.2 High-Efficiency Fixtures and Fittings (1 point each, maximum 3 points).
OR
-
3.3 Very High Efficiency Fixtures and Fittings (2 points each, maximum 6 points).
We plan on 6 points here by:
-
Average flow rate for all lavatory faucets will be ≤ 5.6 LPM (1.5 GPM)
-
Average flow rate for all shower heads will be ≤ 6.6 LPM (1.75 GPM)
-
Average flow rate for all toilets, including dual-flush toilets, will be ≤ 4.1 LPF (1.1 GPF) and meet the Uniform North American Requirements for toilet fixtures. That is, a toilet fixture should completely evacuate at least 350g of waste in a single flush action.
